Full-Time Training - Testimonies

The Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) has changed my life. Before I came, my relationship with the Lord was quite shallow and I didn't have much knowledge about the basic truths. My college years were wasted in aimless pursuit of education. I never shared the gospel at school because my knowledge and experience of the Lord were very superficial. Even though I had grown up in a strong Christian family, I had never read the Bible completely through. The Lord was merciful to me, though, and brought me to the Training once I graduated from college.

In the Training, I've learned how to truly exercise my spirit (1 Timothy 4:7). Before I came, I called on the Lord in a weak and timid way, thereby limiting my enjoyment of Him. But weekly in the Training, in our classes, we have times designated just to call on the Lord as loud and as strong as we want to. Calling on the Lord in this way has just flooded me with love and joy for Him (Romans 10:13). Initially, I was very self-conscious about calling loudly, but over time I didn't seem to care what others thought. Now I don't let my surroundings hinder me in calling. When I call on the name of the Lord with my whole being, I have joy unspeakable. I become so enlivened that it's hard to describe; you just have to try it.

This is just one of the numerous experiences that I have had in the FTTA. Each day the Lord reveals Himself to me throughout different circumstances. He shows me just who and what I am, and then He shows me Himself. I am brought out of my selfish pursuit of life and see God's economy. All I can say is, that it is joy unspeakable and full of glory.
